We require a detail orientated and organised Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join an innovative international company in a growing industry that can provide career security and genuine advancement opportunities for those who show potential.


Flexible on location, this position can be based within our City of London, Liverpool or Antrim Laboratories.   


This will be a full-time role with working hours 9:40am-6:20pm, Monday-Friday.   



Key Tasks & Responsibilities


  • Reporting and release of External Clinical Customer results generated in the RCLS Science Park (Antrim), RCLS Holywood, RCLS Liverpool & RCLS London Laboratories

  • Analyse and interpret data generated from Validation of Clinical Assays generated in the RCLS Science Park, RCLS Holywood, RCLS Liverpool & RCLS London Labs & compilation of the Fit for Purpose Assessments/Technical Reports in line with IS017025 

  • Liaise with the Clinical Team Leaders/Laboratory Manager in the review, confirmation and reporting of results.

  • Routine use of the RCLS Laboratory Information Management System (LIMs).


Essential Skills:


  • Qualified to degree level in Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry or Biological Sciences with a minimum qualification of 2:1

  • Extensive and demonstrable experience in a similar role

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and organisational skills.

  • Ability to work on their own and within a team

  • Ability to plan and organise work effectively to achieve agreed objectives to meet all section KPI's


Desirable Skills:


  • Qualified to MSc level in Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry or Biological Sciences

  • Experience in Clinical Reporting

  • Experience in Quality Managements Systems i.e. ISO9001/ISO17025/ISO15189

  • Experience working in a clinical diagnostics laboratory

  • Knowledge of a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, & Excel to produce correspondence and documents and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases
