The role will be based at our Site in Dungloe, Co. Donegal, Ireland.


The Role/An Ról:


  • Development of Electrical / Electronic control solutions for medical devices.

  • Develop design concepts based on User Requirements.

  • Working within a multi-disciplinary team ensuring all development and testing is co-ordinated appropriately

  • Applying knowledge of Electronic, Electrical, RF, Analogue and Digital design for the design, assembly, integration and prototyping of system components into working systems for developmental assessment.

  • Report status of projects / designs, both orally and written format, to Senior Management


The Candidate/An t-iarrthóir:


The successful candidate must possess:      


  • A higher-level qualification in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, or be able to demonstrate appropriate industrial experience.

  • Relevant experience in electronic design, covering both analogue and digital circuits.

  • Practical relevant prototyping, evaluation and testing experience.

  • Embedded Software development and general programming skills.

  • Good grasp of Programmable Logic conceptual design.

  • Demonstrate relevant experience in PCB CAD design.


    Although desirable but not essential, we would like the successful candidate to have encountered the following:


  • Altium DXP/ Nexar experience

  • Experience in Embedded Software development and general programming skills

  • Experience / knowledge of CE product marking, including LVD and EMC and design for compliance.

  • Experience of electronic product design for worldwide markets, including worldwide compliance/ approvals.

  • Previous experience in handling Intellectual Property related issues.

  • Experience in Design for Manufacturing / mass production.
