The role will be based at our Site in Dungloe, Co. Donegal, Ireland.
The Role/An Ról:
Development of Electrical / Electronic control solutions for medical devices.
Develop design concepts based on User Requirements.
Working within a multi-disciplinary team ensuring all development and testing is co-ordinated appropriately
Applying knowledge of Electronic, Electrical, RF, Analogue and Digital design for the design, assembly, integration and prototyping of system components into working systems for developmental assessment.
Report status of projects / designs, both orally and written format, to Senior Management
The Candidate/An t-iarrthóir:
The successful candidate must possess:
A higher-level qualification in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, or be able to demonstrate appropriate industrial experience.
Relevant experience in electronic design, covering both analogue and digital circuits.
Practical relevant prototyping, evaluation and testing experience.
Embedded Software development and general programming skills.
Good grasp of Programmable Logic conceptual design.
Demonstrate relevant experience in PCB CAD design.
Although desirable but not essential, we would like the successful candidate to have encountered the following:
Altium DXP/ Nexar experience
Experience in Embedded Software development and general programming skills
Experience / knowledge of CE product marking, including LVD and EMC and design for compliance.
Experience of electronic product design for worldwide markets, including worldwide compliance/ approvals.
Previous experience in handling Intellectual Property related issues.
Experience in Design for Manufacturing / mass production.
