Experienced Shepherd - (Job Ref: 19N/SHRD)

Randox is committed to conservation and biodiversity and are currently looking for an experienced Shepherd. The successful candidate will be responsible for the health, welfare, and the performance of the sheep flock.

The Shepherd will also be responsible for meeting Defra requirements for example, ensuring sheep are correctly identified and that the correct veterinary and medicines treatment records are up-to-date.
The successful candidate will also be expected to perform any other general tasks as and when required, such as, looking after hedges and areas of woodland; Operating and Maintaining vehicles and machinery; Mending walls and fences; Cleaning and maintaining buildings etc.

The Candidate

The successful applicant will have:

• Experience working in a similar role is mandatory
• Any other farming experience will be advantageous
• Relevant qualification in Agriculture would be advantageous
• Be self-motivated but also work as part of a team
• Current clean driving licence
• Flexible work ethic

This is a full time position which includes evening & weekend work.
