Randox Health is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Phlebotomist/Receptionist. The successful candidate will be based at our Randox Health London clinic in Finsbury Circus. The objective of this role is to ensure a high quality, personalised care experience for all clients, in terms of both exceptional customer service and performing the client’s appointment.   This is a pivotal role within the clinic combining two integral aspects ensuring the patient journey is a smooth and stress free experience.


At Randox Health we are advocates of multi-disciplinary roles and up skilling our employees for career progression.  As such, the successful candidate will be trained and supported internally, in terms of their dual role.


The Role:

  • Taking blood; prepare specimen for laboratory testing

  • Perform screening procedures

  • The accurate completion of company forms and documentation.

  • Recognise, assess and refer clients presenting with health needs to the appropriate professional, in association with RH Expert/GP’s guidance.

  • High level of IT literacy. Randox Health use a range of IT systems and require a Phlebotomist who is fully IT literate to log client data, update several computer software systems, and update and complete daily tasks and forms.

  • Provide continuity of care by co-ordinating all client appointments and ensuring results are available for scheduled appointments

  • Operation of the company Patient Information System accurately updating correspondence, client details, appointments, bookings and sales

  • Undertake relevant administrative duties

  • To confidently promote Randox Health packages with an in-depth knowledge of tests, appointment preparations and promotions.


The Successful Applicant:


  • Client facing with excellent communication skills and high level of customer service

  • Professional and helpful demeanour (telephone, email and face to face)

  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload in a logical fashion

  • Ability to work on own initiative and to foster a team working environment.

  • Attend functions/events and provide cover in other clinics

  • Drive or travel with the Mobile Clinic/Car to off-site locations throughout UK & Ireland which will include overnight stays.


The opening hours of the clinic are 7am-7pm Monday-Friday and 8am-12noon every Saturday. The successful candidate must be flexible to work various shift patterns within these working hours.
