Randox urgently require candidates with previous laboratory training to work on COVID-19 focused projects.

Scientist (20N/CV01)

The Roles:

We require highly motivated and enthusiastic with appropriate qualifications and training to undertake R&D and Clinical roles within the company. We seek applications from graduate level to those with extensive experience. These vacancies will be to provide support in our laboratories as we see increased demand for the Randox Covid-19 products. These positions are temporary and are anticipated to last for 4-6 months initially. We can consider candidates on a full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time basis.

Types of temporary roles we are recruiting for:

• Scientists (20N/CV01)
• Laboratory Analysts (20NCV02)
• Laboratory Technicians (20N/CV03)
• Molecular Biologists (20N/CV04)
• Microbiologists (20N/CV05)

These roles are available on day shifts although we may also have to run a night shift shortly so please confirm your preference or flexibility when applying.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Qualified to at least degree standard in a Life Science discipline with a 2:1 grade or above.
• Previous lab training relevant to your role is required
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Must have excellent time management, organisational and computer skills (Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office packages)
• Ability to learn and retain information quickly.

The positions will be based at one of our County Antrim sites which includes our Centre of Excellence at the Randox Science Park in Antrim Town or other sites based outside Crumlin, County Antrim.
