Temporary Scientists – Biochip Lab (20N/BCLS)

Due to the on-going COVID-19 crisis, Randox Laboratories are seeking applications from candidates to join our testing labs. These positions would run prepared samples on our patented Biochip Array Technology analysers. Full training on processes and how to operate the analyser will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands on lab experience while contributing to the fight against COVID-19.

We need candidates who can commit to working 36+ hours per week and who have the flexibility to work a shift pattern. Please confirm this on your covering letter or CV.

These roles will be based at the Randox Science Park in Antrim Town. Parking is available and this site is well located for those who use public transport.

The Candidate:


• At least a final year biochemistry, biomedical or life science student. More experienced candidates should also apply.
• Excellent Pipetting skills
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Flexibility to work a shift pattern
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent time management
• Ability to learn and retain information quickly.
• Ability to interpret and analyse data
